Our team also advises captive generators and consumers on issues pertaining to non-discriminatory open access and is adept with evaluation of contractual arrangements in the power sector involving regulatory as well as commercial risks and liabilities.
We provide strategic advice and handle disputes on regulatory issues such as determination and fixation generation distribution and transmission tariff(s), change in law and force majeure issues, open access and allied issues, both for conventional and renewable energy power plants by regularly appearing before the State Electricity Regulatory Commissions, Central Electricity Regulatory Commission, Appellate Tribunal for Electricity and the Supreme Court.
