Digvijay looks after the firm’s litigation and arbitration work in the Northeast through an office and a team in Guwahati. He is a seasoned lawyer with a specialized focus in real estate laws and brings his real time expertise in dealing with legal issues in the property sector before various forums and authorities across the country.
Digvijay has also handled several criminal matters right from the stage of police investigation to trial and regularly appears before the trial courts, apart from handling civil matters. He also regularly appears before the Hon’ble Gauhati High Court in a wide variety of matters and the Real Estate Regulatory Authority (RERA) for leading private builders in the State of Assam.
Digvijay has been instrumental in building the firm’s practice before the other States of the Northeast as well viz. Mizoram, Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh, Nagaland and Sikkim, where he has been handling work pertaining to several development projects. He has also been part of several key discussions with the various Government bodies and agencies, some of which relate to “cyber bullying” and crimes relating to the use of technology. He has contributed articles to Regional Newspapers (in Northeast) as well as to various online news portals.
Beyond the courtroom, Digvijay actively participates in community service and social service initiatives such as sustainable farming, which aims to uplift and support those in need by promoting the importance of sustainable practices and environmental stewardship.

• Before the Hon’ble Gauhati High Court in W.P.(C) No. 4899 of 2020 for a group of Oil Tanker owners associated with the Indian Oil Corporation Limited in challenging a Penalty Clause based on “Wednesbury Principle” in a Notice Inviting Tender DRE220M228 dated 26.12.2020.
• Before the Ld. District Judge, Kamrup(M), Guwahati in Misc.(Arb.) Case No. 58 of 2022 for Simplex Projects Limited in a Section 34 application challenging an Arbitral Award.
• Before the Ld. Special Judge, NDPS in the State of Assam in FIR No. 517 of 2020 – Gossaigaon PS for securing bail for the accused who was charged under Sections 120(B), 379, 411, 420, 468 along with Section 34 of the IPC read with Section 20C of the NPDS Act.
• Before the Ld. Trial Courts in Kamrup (M), Assam for a victim of Domestic Violence abuse, and also appeared for the same person before the Hon’ble Gauhati High Court in multiple proceedings initiated under Section 482 CrPC seeking quashing of FIRs filed by her husband.
• Before the Real Estate Regulatory Authority, Assam for M/s Saroj Establishments and M/s Arunudoi Apartments (Builders) defending complaints under Section 18 and Section 31 of the Real Estate (Regulation and Development) Act, 2016.
